The flames of truth and love flicker and flare in the eyes of our King. There is no mistaking or misreading His intentions. He is not at all subtle (which I am entirely grateful for because I am so very literal), and He is purposeful in His pursuit. Why? because it is His desire that no one would perish... "for God so loved the world" (John 3:16). In our King's Throne Room, there is never-ending thunder and lightning. They declare His presence. His dominion. His holiness. And the sound of His voice is carried with clarity and authority above it all—it is stunning in the Throne Room of our King.
