I bolted myself safely in,
With my stained steel lock,
Experience engraved
In it’s cold hard skin.
Then I swallowed the key,
You can hear it break free, when I Sing.

Especially good last two lines with that ending as opening and the double meaning of key

Yes those last few lines actually opens up the prison to a sliver of hope…. continue to sing.

I personally take a seaman’s approach —- find a key and land on it!
